Understanding Our Rules & Guidelines: Simple and clear rules to ensure a safe and positive environment for everyone at TOIS, supporting our students’ growth and learning.

01 New admission will be made subject to there being vacancies. No correspondence will be entertained regarding admission.
02 The parents/ guardian will fill in the admission form and he/ she will be responsible for the conduct and fees of the Child.
03 Every new Child must bring a Transfer (Leaving) Certificate/ Municipal Birth Certificate. No admission is complete until the Leaving/ Birth Certificate is handed over to the School authority.
04 The Child will be assessed in the matter of the class immediately below that to which he/ she seeks admission. The decision of the School authorities shall be final.
05 Notice of withdrawal must be given one month in advance. Such notice must be given by the parents/ guardian in the application form provided.
06 Children should be particularly careful not to throw paper or other rubbish anywhere in the School premises. They should use the baskets and bins provided for the purpose.
07 Children must look after their own things. The School will not be responsible for books, money or other valuables brought to School.
08 Any kind of damage done to the School property must be reported to the Principal and must be made good by the parents.
09 No money collection for any purpose whatsoever may be made without prior permission of the Principal.
10 Private tutions are discouraged. Teachers of this School are not allowed to give tuition to students of this School.
11 Children found guilty of disturbing the normal functioning of the school shall run the risk of summary dismissal from the School.
12 Children should remember that they are responsible to the School authorities for their conduct, both inside and outside the School. Any misbehaviour in public places will justify action being taken against the offender Child.
13 No books, newspapers, periodicals, pictures etc. other than School books may be brought to the School.
14 The School reserves the right to give notice of withdrawal to the parents of those students whose progress is not satisfactory, or whose conduct is harmful to others. Insubordination or contempt of authority is a sufficient reason for immediate dismissal.
15 Writing on walls or furnitures or making grooves on any articles will be taken seriously.
16 Habitual negligence of School work, dishonesty, obscenity in word or action, insubordination and such other acts of misbehaviour will involve severe discipline action, which in extreme cases will be expulsion from the School.
17 All are expected to speak English in the School premises and the School compound.
18 During School hours, no Child are allowed to go out of the campus without permission of the Principal.
19 No child will be allowed to leave early except on unavoidable medical grounds.
20 Every student must be in possession of this handbook at all times.
21 Games and sports are encouraged and given training on the School play ground. School will not be held liable for the injuries suffered. Only first aid will be provided free of cost.
